R E S E A R C H !
Start by determining the programs that require courses that you enjoy. (ie. History, English, Sociology: considering looking at liberal arts or social sciences. Math, Sciences: consider looking at Business, Engineering, Health Sciences etc.)
Once you have narrowed it down to the Arts, Social Sciences or Physical or Health Sciences etc. begin to look at programs in those specific fields and see which programs keep popping up as an interest to you. Look further into whether courses you will be studying first year are of interest to you. If you do not like the courses, the program may not be for you.
Make sure you research the programs and schools that you are interested in. DO NOT wait until the month before the deadline to start researching what you want to do. WE WILL ANSWER QUESTIONS, but cannot make decisions for you. It is your future and as such, you need to do what makes YOU happy. Make sure you are aware of the requirements
Admission Requirements:
You will graduate from Centennial with an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma). This is the 1st requirement for university admission. The other main requirement is a minimum of 6 grade 12 U / M courses. Each university program will have other specific requirements. Do not assume that each program has the same requirements. For most schools, prerequisite courses will be included in your top 6, for the calculation of your admission average. Be sure to investigate the requirement for each school / program.
